The article presents the influence of thermo-chemical treatment Al2O3 layers on their tribological properties. were produced EN AW-5251 aluminium alloy by means direct current anodizing in a three-component electrolyte. For sake comparison, some samples thermochemically treated three liquids (sodium sulphate solution, sodium dichromate distilled water). parameters production and selected basis two Hartley's plans. properties determined test carried out for pin-on-disc friction pair T-17 tester reciprocating motion. tests conditions technically dry friction. Thanks to tests, coefficient µ mass wear, together with intensity material wear determined. use solution contributed an increase μ reduction polymer from 36 μg/km (layer without treatment) 21.33 after solution).The conducted stereometric before allow authors state that increases amplitude surface roughness. study morphology layer lowest showed formation additional sub-layer as result solution.
